The Arkona Lions Club has been an important part of our community since its inception in 1948. Numerous projects as well as regular participation in community life have been the result of the enthusiastic support, efforts and contribution of the Lions Club to higher quality of life for the citizens and visitors of Arkona and area.

Established in 1987 with 23 starting members, the Arkona Lioness Club has contributed significantly to the community life of Arkona and area. The Lioness Club has initiated and participated in various projects and activities aimed at developing the resources and opportunities for Arkona and area citizens and fostering community interaction and involvement.
